I rarely if ever eat from one of the carts, I am not saying they are bad, just not my thing. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since <a href="http://great-sage.com" target="_blank">Great Sage</a> will have the honor of being the first to offer the new award winning Tofurky Pizzas, they thought it would be fun to throw a party and call it VeganFest! Which will aslo be a charity event for <a href="http://cok.net" target="_blank">Compassion Over Killing</a>.</p>
<p><strong>$20 advance entrance fee ($25 at the door) and that all goes to COK</strong>. For the $20/$25 you will receive free pizza, cake, and coconut ice cream (and some other vegan treats to be named later). There will be a cash bar. There will be a band from 7:30-9:30, also to be named later.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.javagreencafe.com/">Cafe Green</a> will offer waffles with your choice of Earth Balance (margarine) and Maple Syrup, Peanut Butter, Strawberries, Blueberries, Mangos, Chocolate Sauce, Raw Agave Nectar, Vegan Whipped Topping, Pineapples, Cinnamon Apples, Bananas, or Candied Walnuts.  Ten percent of all waffle sales will directly benefit <a href="http://www.lagulfresponse.org/home.html">GRIT</a>!</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.javagreencafe.com/">Cafe Green</a> fundraiser is part of <a href="http://waffleparty.com">Global Vegan Waffle Party 2010</a>.  Now in its third year, <a href="http://waffleparty.com">Global Vegan Waffle Party</a> strives &#8220;to bring people together and raise awareness about serious issues in a fun, lighthearted, delicious, and non-threatening way.&#8221;  This year, cities as far flung as Tokyo, Edinburgh, Korat (Thailand) and Athens will be participating under the theme &#8220;Good for Many Species and Our Planet.&#8221;</p>
