Reminder: Vegan bake sale for Haiti this Saturday, March 27, in Falls Church. 10:30am – 2:30 pm, in front of the Falls Plaza Giant (near corner of Route 7 aka Broad Street and Haycock Rd).

Now that snow is almost gone and the crocuses are in full bloom, the Falls Church vegan bake sale for Haiti is back ON! March 27, 10:30am to 2:30pm, at the Falls Church Giant (1230 W. Broad St. – corner of Route 7 and Haycock Road).

We need the usual cadre of talented and awesome bakers. Hopefully lots of people who signed up for the Feb 6 / Feb 13 cancelled bake sales are still up for contributing to the March 27 bake sale. We don’t expect any blizzards then!

OK – New date and time for Falls Church bake sale. Sorry about last-minute change. The forecast was looking ominous and I was afraid of a total bust. I just hope Sunday is good weather because…

The Falls Chuch bake sale will now be Sunday Feb 7, from 2pm to 6pm. Same venue (Falls Plaza Giant). There is another group that has the spot until 2pm, so probably we will really not be fully set up until 2:30, but we will try to start selling as soon after 2 as possible.

You can drop stuff off at the bake sale (we’ll get to the Giant about 1:45), or beforehand – contact info@compassion4animals for details on dropoffs the day before or Sunday morning.

Thanks for your cooperation and patience! I hope this doesn’t interfere too terribly. Let’s make it an awesome bake sale anyway!
