Save the Date for DC VegFest 2010!

The date for DC Vegfest 2010 has been announced! Save the date of September 11th, 2010. DC VegFest is a FREE outdoor festival celebrating the very best of everything vegetarian in and around the nations capital, organized by Compassion Over Killing and the Vegetarian Society of DC.

Rory Freedman, author of Skinny Bitch talks to the audience at DC VegFest 2009 about being patient with meat-eaters.

Last year was the first DC VegFest, which attracted both vegans/vegetarians as well as meat-eaters interested in learning more about living a compassionate lifestyle. Planning is still under way for DC VegFest 2010 but be sure to mark your calendar for this all day vegan friendly event.
