Ill be making my favorite, Pizza! Ill post photos later tonight!
I’m using the time to try some desserts. Just made chocolate peanut butter pie with the recipe from the COK website.
How did they come out?
Very good, my first successful tofu-based dessert.
lazy day! “made” an Amy’s no-cheese roasted veggie pizza sprinkled with daiya italian & a little daiya cheddar =)
I’m cooking up this split pea, topped with some home-sprouted alfalfa sprouts for some cozy comfort this cold wintry night:

I decided to try my hand at baking, so I have made banana muffins and oatmeal cookies. Both were very yummy — even my non-vegan husband approved heartily!
I never was able to make anything my power has been out!!!! I hoping to make some pizza today.
Let’s See… Friday night I made a huge pot of veggie soup – which was yummy! (I froze several bowls for lunches later down the road).
Yesterday I made a huge pot of 13bean soup and tried my hand at some corn bread… – cornbread didn’t come out so well..
And today I just at soup left overs and made some pita pocket apple pies to curb the sweet tooth tonight!
It was an Isa day for me! I grabbed the X-mas present I got from my hubby, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar, and made her Chocolate Fudgy Oatmeal Cookies. Mmmm, mmm…great! Two thumbs up from my hubby. The toughest part was choosing which recipe to do.
Then I ended the night with breakfast for dinner. I made some mushroom-spinach omletes from Isa’s book, Vegan Brunch, along with hash brown potatoes and sausage patties. Oh so satisfying after an afternoon of shoveling loads of snow!
Isa…..your a vegan cooking goddess!!
