I think the motivation for the workday timing is to maximize exposure. I believe it's pretty dead around the Canadian Embassy during the weekend. I work 20 miles south of DC. There's no way I'd be able to make it there while on my lunch break. I hope there is a strong enough presence. Anyone who works in DC, should really make a point to go.
