book signing to benefit WARL
Written by: Amber McDonald Filed under: Animals, Benefit, Events
Local lawyer-turned-author Hal Creel was inspired by his dog Chester to write Do Old Dogs Dream? , a collection of poems, photographs and illustrations about four-legged senior citizens. The book has been officially endorsed by the Humane Society and the ASPCA, and all profits from its sale will be donated to the care of old dogs in shelters.
Pick up your copy at Long View Gallery on February 5th, where Hal will be signing books from 6-8 PM. And, if there’s a special old dog chewing a hole in your wallet warming your heart, try your hand at winning Bully , a piece by Tony Savoie that will be auctioned off to benefit the Washington Animal Rescue League’s Hope Fund.
